Introduction

This site contains resources and materials developed during the Quality Improvement Committee project the “New Zealand Incident Management System” (NZIMS)

 

During the project Communio:

  • Developed the NZIMS draft national policy
  • Provided Incident Management education to over 2000 health care staff
  • Developed business and technical specifications for an ICT system to support Incident Management.

The resources developed during this project are contained in this site.

 

Responsibility for this initiative has now passed to the New Zealand Health Quality and Safety Commission which released the National Reportable Events Policy in February 2012
